Elite Master Perks

Postby Guardian » Sat Oct 31, 2020 3:05 pm

There's 4 ways of climbing the ladder for Elite Master Perks!!!! Players can either level by climbing the ladder (gaining EM numbers (aka Token)) as explained in option 1 or use option 2 along with option 1. Either way, players still must climb the ladder however option 2 will help with hard to level perks or perks some players may not play. :nod: Added to this is now Option 3 (Time (Hours) Played) and Option 4 (Total Kills).

IMPORTANT NOTE: After a Perk has become an Elite Master Perk by gaining the token amount to activate Elite Master, the perk can no longer be reset to gain a token. (Elite Master Perks cannot be used to gain tokens).

Option 1:

What are Elite Master Perks? Elite Master Perks are for players looking to go past Elite Status after they've hit level 20 for the perk. However, there's a catch to the Elite Master Perks. One must journey a ladder of leveling to gain access to all Elite Master Perks. Also, you must reset your perk progress from level 20 back to 0. You can now use either the Elite Master perk or your regular perk to re-level the perk.

How do I reset my perk once I meet the requirements in the ladder system and have my perk at level 20. You will need to contact me. Your first perk that you'll need to start with will be Berserker. That's the first perk in the ladder system. You must have level 20, then you can message me on Steam to request the perk reset. I will reset the perk and toggle your Elite Master number to 1, which will open up Elite Master Berserker. Next you will need to level Commando to level 20 and then reset it to gain Elite Master 2. ETC. ETC. My contact on steam is Guardiannknight link to my profile here https://steamcommunity.com/id/guardiannknight/

What's the purpose of Elite Master, how are they different?

Each perk will do 1/2 more damage each level. So, if a perk was doing 10% damage per level, it will now do %15 per level. Meaning at level 10 it will be doing 50% more damage and at level 20 it will be doing 100% more damage. Another example, if a perk was doing 20% per level, it will now do 30% per level. Etc. etc. etc.

Elite Master perks get an extra 5% Dodge/Block.

Health Regen:
LvL 1 - 4 --> 1 HP/sec
LvL 5 - 9 -->2 HP/sec
LvL 10 - 14 -->3 HP/sec
LvL 15 - 19 -->4 HP/sec
LvL 20-->5 HP/sec

Also, Elite Master perks have been given an effect on their perk icon, that will make them different than other perks. The perk icon will show up different on the screen when selecting a perk, on the screen with all the players that are on the server preparing to start the level. Doesn't change above the players head during the game. The effect doesn't change on the bottom left hand side of the players UI during game play. Also, an (EM) is listed beside the name of the perk that shows up on the player list before a match (just incase the different icon isn't enough to show there's something special about the perk). ;)

Now your saying.... Wait what???? Do I have to level all my perks to 20 before I can use Elite Master Perks? No, you must level a ladder system to gain access to them. The ladder is listed below.

Beside each perk is a number. You'll notice some have the same number beside them. This number represents the level of Elite Master you are(how many Tokens you have). If there's a (Group) you can use 1 Token to pass the group. For groups 17 and 35 one can have just 1 perk at level 20 to gain 1 Token to pass the group. If one wants to gain more tokens for the group before they reset any perk in the group or use a token to pass the group they can level perks in the group to 20 to gain more tokens.

Example 1: If a player has Sentry Tech and Battle Medic to 20 and then reset to gain a token, 2 tokens will be given.
Example 2: If a player has Sentry Tech only and resets the perk, 1 token will be given.
Example 3: If a player has all 4 perks at lvl 20, then 4 tokens will be given.

IMPORTANT: If you reset a perk in a group it will reset and attribute that it uses to level. Meaning if you reset Battle Medic, it will reset Battle Medic Damage, Welding and Medic Healing. It's recommended not to reset these perks until you come to the group. But, it's up to each person on how they wish to climb the ladder. :nod:

Group:
17. Field Medic
17. Support Specialist
17. Sentry Tech
17. Battle Medic
End Group:

Group:
35. Firebug
35. Sonic Blaze
35. Cinder
35. Pyroclastic
End Group:

Next question is, then how does this work? Lets say you want to open Elite Master 4(Guardian). Well, to do this, you must level Berserker, Commando, Demolitions and Guardian to level 20 Elite. Then you can request your Guardian Perk progress to be reset by me (Guardiannknight) and I will manually toggle you data to 4 to allow access to Guardian. Now in this process, remember you don't have to wait until you get your Guardian to level 20 before you can request Berserker, Commando or Demolitions to be switched to Elite Master. As you level each perk to 20 Berserker, Commando, and Demolitions you can request to have the perk reset to open up Elite Master for each of them.

So, how about I want Elite Master Commando, what is the process? First you will need to level your Berserker and Commando to 20. Note this, if you level your Berserker to 20 you don't have to wait until you level your Commando to 20 before you can switch your Berserker to Elite Master. You can request to have the Berserker switched to Elite Master before you get to level 20 on Commando. Once you have reached level 20 on Commando, you can request to switch to Elite Master.

What if I want level 19 Elite Master Storm Trooper, I'm already level 20? You'll need to level all perks on the ladder before it to level 20. Remember this is a ladder system. As you level each perk and reset it, you open up another level of Elite Master. Also remember, you don't have to wait and level all the perks to 20 before you have them reset. Best to reset them one at a time to climb the ladder, that way the Elite Master perk is open to use as you climb the ladder.

What if I don't want a perk reset as I climb the ladder. As you climb the ladder you must reset your perk if you wish to continue moving up the Elite Master ladder and to open up Elite Master perks.

Final notes:
Remember if you wish to reset a perk to Elite Master and start up the ladder (Berserker should be the first perk you request, then Commando, ect. etc.) contact me by Steam with the account you use to play the game. I will check your Steam ID by your profile to confirm your Steam ID matches the Steam ID in the database of the server. Also, please let me know the exact damage, welding, stalker kills, medic (whatever is required by the perk) when you message me. This will help me find it in the database easier, especially for stock perks. Custom perks are easier.

Option 2:

Players can use option 2 to help climb the ladder and gain Elite Master Perk numbers (aka Tokens). Option 2 will help and give an option for players thet may not play a certain perk or perks, or may have a hard time leveling the perk or perks to level 20.

So, how does this work? By using option 2 a player can use a perk that's up the ladder that has been leveled to 20 to gain a EM Token.

A quick example. Lets say a player has Terminator at level 20 and has not leveled Berserker to level 20 yet. The player can request to reset their Terminator to gain 1 EM Token. The players Terminator will be reset and also the players Berserker will be reset. The player now has opened EM Berserker since they have 1 EM Token.

Very Important Note: After the player has reset their Terminator once (or any perk) they cannot level it to 20 again and reset it to gain another EM Token, unless the player uses Terminator in the example above to earn the token for EM Terminator. In this case then Terminator can be reset for a 2nd time.

I'll keep a data sheet with all perk resets attached to each players Steam ID (what the perk database uses to store players data).

Will give a few more examples with using option .

Example 1:

Lets say a player has climbed the ladder without using option 2 and has leveled Berserker, Commando, Demo, Guardian and Brute and now has hit it's first EM Group of perks (Sharp Shooter and Sniper). A player can use any perk down the ladder that they've leveled to 20 to gain a Token for that group. So, lets say the player has a level 20 Blades. The player can reset the Blades perk to gain another EM Token. With doing this, the players Blades perk will be reset along with their current Sharp Shooter and Sniper. EM Sharp Shooter and EM Sniper will now be open to the player. Important Note again, the player cannot level the Blades perk to 20 again to gain another EM Token UNLESS the Token is for the Blades perk itself.

Example 2:

Lets say a player has climbed the ladder and has gained 33 EM Tokens. There next perk to level is Portal Assassin to gain another EM Token. They have already used level 20 Necromancer and reset the perk once to gain a token, but the player has leveled the perk to 20 Necromancer again. Sadly, the player cannot reset Necromancer again to gain another EM Token to give them access to Token 34 for EM Portal Assassin. The player must level Portal Assassin to 20 or use another Perk up the ladder (that hasn't been leveled to 20 and reset) to gain access to the EM Token.

Continue on with Example 2:
Well, the player has continued up the ladder and now has 35 EM Tokens. The next perk on the ladder is Necromancer which is Token 36. Remember the player has already leveled the Necromancer perk to 20 and reset the perk to gain a Token down the ladder. However, the player has now leveled the perk back to 20. The player CAN reset the level 20 Necromancer to gain the token for the Necromancer Token (this is the same as using the option 1 ladder climb).

Example 3: Group of perks (Sharp Shooter/Sniper, Field Medic/Support Specialist/Sentry Tech/Battle Medic, Etc. Etc.)

End Group:

Group:
35. Firebug
35. Sonic Blaze
35. Cinder
35. Pyroclastic
End Group:

Hopefully I've explained how option 2 works. This will help and give an option to veteran players (long time players) to have access to EM Perks if they feel like resetting perks to help gain access to EM Perks Tokens to help climb the ladder.

Final Notes on option 2: When requesting to use a perk up the ladder that you've reached level 20 and wish to reset it to gain a EM Token. Please give me the exact damage of that perk along with the damage of the Perk down the ladder that will be reset as well. For example, if you have Dead Pool at level 20 and reset it to gain access to EM Berserker, please give me the exact damage for Dead Pool and Berserker. This will help me find them easier. The custom perks isn't as hard as the Stock Perk when looking them up on the database for a player. However, giving me the exact damage will help greatly, especially for Stock Perks (Berserker, Commando, Demo, Sharp Shooter, Fire Bug, Medic and Support Specialist). You can find EXACT DAMAGE while on the server, press esc (this will bring you to the menu), at the top you'll see some TABS. Click on the Stats Tab, this will give you exact numbers for each perk and stat.

Option 3:
Hours played on the Pro or Non Pro Database (500 hours for 1 token): (per database)
With this option, this is per database (Pro and Non Pro). Please do not request to combine time from both the Pro and Non Pro database, just like perk stats, the time on each database is different. A player can request a token for each 500 hours they've played on the database (again Pro or Non Pro). The token can be used on a single perk token or group token to progress up the ladder. Rules still applies, that the player must start from the bottom of the ladder and move up. This option will also allow players that have played for a while to use their played time to advance past a perk or group of perks that they may not feel like leveling to 20 to gain the token for that perk or leveling a group of perks to 20 for a group of perks.

IMPORTANT: With option 3 being added, I will be looking at the servers to make sure players are not just setting on the server collecting time. If a player is found setting on the server and not playing often, a note will be made on the data list that's kept for all EM Perk tokens per players Steam ID# to subtract 1,000 hours from any request that player makes for a played time token. Also, if the player continues to set on the servers and not play just to collect time a ban will be placed.

This doesn't mean players are not allowed to go AFK sometimes, things happen and this isn't what the rule above is about. The rule above is about a player staying AFK for long periods of time and especially often.

Where to find time played? This is listed in the stats tab when on the server. You can find EXACT DAMAGE or Time Played while on the server, press esc (this will bring you to the menu), at the top you'll see some TABS. Click on the Stats Tab, this will give you exact numbers for each perk and stat. Please be sure to give me the exact damage of the perk or perks (if part of a group) you wish to use the Played Time Token for, remember one must start from the bottom of the ladder and move up. :nod:

Also, the players time WILL NOT BE RESET. A record will be kept on the EM Data sheet for hours used for a token for the players Steam ID. The time won't be adjusted on the players stats.

Option 4:
Total Kills on the Pro or Non Pro Database (500,000 kills for 1 token): (per database)
With this option, this is per database (Pro and Non Pro). Please do not request to combine kills from both the Pro and Non Pro database, just like perk stats, the kills on each database is different. A player can request a token for each 500,000 kills they've gotten on the database (again Pro or Non Pro). The token can be used on a single perk token or group token to progress up the ladder. Rules still applies, that the player must start from the bottom of the ladder and move up. This option will also allow players that have played for a while to use their Total Kills to advance past a perk or group of perks that they may not feel like leveling to 20 to gain the token for that perk or leveling a group of perks to 20 for a group of perks.

Where to find Total Kills? This is listed in the stats tab when on the server. You can find EXACT DAMAGE or Time Played or Total Kills while on the server, press esc (this will bring you to the menu), at the top you'll see some TABS. Click on the Stats Tab, this will give you exact numbers for each perk and stat. Please be sure to give me the exact damage of the perk or perks (if part of a group) you wish to use the Total Kills Token for, remember one must start from the bottom of the ladder and move up. :nod:

Also, the players Total Kills WILL NOT BE RESET. A record will be kept on the EM Data sheet for Total Kills used for a token for the players Steam ID. The Total Kills won't be adjusted on the players stats.

Remember if you wish to reset a perk to gain a EM Token, contact me by Steam with the account you use to play the game. I will check your Steam ID by your profile to confirm your Steam ID matches the Steam ID in the database of the server.

My contact info: Guardiannknight link to my profile here https://steamcommunity.com/id/guardiannknight/

When will my perks be reset when I request to reset a level 20 either by option 1 or option 2? I will reset the perks and give the EM Token as soon as I can. I'll need to take down the servers to do this (reason giving exact damage will help shorten the time it takes to find each perk on a players database). More than likely, resets will be down on Friday evening or over the weekend. I may do them during the week during the evening if I have time. I'll try to take the server down when no one is on or if a low amount of players is on. If I'm unable to find a slow spot, I'll send out a message on the Steam Group letting players know the servers will be going down in 5 minutes, just the same as I do for most updates.

Note for which servers Elite Master Perks can be used:
Non Pro Servers: All servers

Pro Servers, Elite Master Perks are not open on Pro Stock ZEDs. Only open on Pro Custom ZED servers. You can still use your regular perk to play on Stock ZEDs, this will level your Elite Master perk as well, since they both share the same database data.

One last note, all players can play level 0 Elite Master perks. You just cannot go onto the next level until the number is toggled to allow perk progression. ;)

Player bots will not play as Elite Master Perks. Elite Master Perks are for players only. :nod:

Wow nice idea. This definetly is something different. But honestly i had some trouble to understand and explain to others. If some constructive criticism is wanted i would recommend the following:
This might be a bit to complicated to the usual meta of players playing on the gk servers. I would easen this up a slightly. Maybe there is a possibility to make the explanation a bit easier. I dont know.
But overall this is very cool
