Perk and server suggestion area :)

Postby Guardian » Fri Nov 30, 2012 1:37 am

Figured this would be one of the better ways of keeping track of suggestions on the perks I have made. Like if you would like to see a certain gun added etc. etc...

I cannot promise that a suggestion or idea that is made, will make it to the perk, I will do my best to work it in, but, I try to keep my perks balanced and not over powering. As for weapons, if I feel the weapon that is suggested fits the perk, it will be added  So, with that being said, I'll make an example below, on how to make a suggestion

Lets say you have a weapon that you would like to see added to the SMG specialist :p Do the following, to keep it organized. :)

SMGS
Suggest weapon: UZI
Then below the weapon, list the URL the weapon is located at. Please note, i will not add stolen weapons from other servers. The weapon must be from the author of the weapon, or from the TWI forums. I respect modders work, because I can understand the hours they put into something, and like myself, i would not want others to steal my stuff without permission or given rights to use it.

So after the link, you can give a reason why you feel the weapon should be added :) And that will do, unless you have pics or video that you would like to attach to the post :)

Next, is perk attribute suggestions :p
Follow the same layout, however, of coarse there won't be a link, unless you would like to link to the idea of the perk attribute.

Brute Gunner
Suggestion: Faster movement increase (which isn't going to happen :p so that suggestion is already out)
Reason for suggestion of perk attribute. :)

Suggestion for perk ideas is more than welcome, but i would rather those be posted in a new thread, for the idea of the perk ;) I currently have 5 to 6 more I've either already started on, or have already made plans of making  Just need time to do them :paranoid:

So, feel free to add your suggestions here. It will help me have an area to keep track of them...

Happy Zed fragging :ninja:

SMGS: Faster movement speed
Sniper:
-spawn with cz75 (replacement for the standard 9mm)
-spawn with SVD-C at level 6.
-M99AMR damage boost
-B-94 Damage Boost
-reduce price on ammo for the thompson G-2 pistol.

Mkb42 I would consider an assault rifle, like the AK47. :) There are already two Thompson's included in the perk :p Is the default one a lot different from the two included ones?

Changed SMGS movement speed to match sniper. :p Which is an extra 1% per lvl to what it was

CZ75 is to powerful of a pistol to start with :p
Will look further on the SVD-C as a starting weapon at later perk lvls
M99AMR current damage per bullet is 770 8O
B-94 current damage per bullet is 500 8O
compare those to the SVDc which is 120 :p

G-2 ammo, working on it, did some changes, we'll see what it does :p

Saboteur
Suggestion: Sab should be completely immune to boomer attacks. If any perk could be it should be sab, making it able to run up to boomers and deal with them easily. It wouldn't be overpowered because you would still need the help of your teammates to clear the zeds away before you even think about getting close. If it's not possible to make them completely immune then add a weapon that only works on boomers and sets them off immediately so they are not a threat. It could also be used to level sab if you make the kills that the explosion cause count for the sab that set it off.

If you don't want to make a weapon for that, then it would be interesting to have the lethal syringe set off boomers immediately. Making the weapon more useful and this would make sab a more popular choice.

Agreed, and updated the Sab to be immune to the Boomer and Berry's  As for full immune, I don't know if that's possible with law rocket damage, but I guess we will find out now since I added law rocket to the resistance damage for Sab. As for getting credit for the kills of the boomer, that isn't possible. Zeds have their own damage they deal, so that would not be possible. Thank you for the suggestions

LRE Support
Suggestion: Use a different system for their movement speed...I know that it may be a challenge to code it, but it would be nice to see them coded to only be super slow when they are actually using majority/full carry weight, I can understand having them somewhat slow no matter what but it would be nice if they weren't always "gonna die no matter what" slow. I'm perk level 4 in it and it's just barely faster then a lvl 2 terminator if that at all(feel wise might be faster then that or slower, don't use terminator enough to identify) I know that the base coding for kf does have a slower movement speed as you come closer to your max carry weight but thought maybe if you could find a means to add onto that for specific perks to give the LRE Support a chance to actually fight without having to use a different perk just to move around, as it stands it's like a glass cannon with the speed of a slug...even the guardian and terminator have better resistances to balance out their speed...and let's face it, the only hold out map you can use LRE Support as a perk without changing out is No-Mercy, and that map is too overly used as it stands...we need more hold out maps as is...

It says perk AND server suggestion area so I'll add this here too...The Mini-Militia map needs a stronger door, it's like the only hold out map that is somewhat reasonable since it has no ammo spawns or anything, but the door can't hold up against anything sizable...especially since you added the boomers which blow it up the second they get in the field...

Like both of the perk suggestions  The Battle Medic, i have been asked to make one of those ever since I started modding perks :p As for the dual melee. I have thought about that. I need to check and see how the dual guns work. If i can mirror the weapons and just reverse the swing, that would work. I'll have to give that a look  Thanks for the perk suggestions
