Nice, so The Swarm is located in sector 9391?

Yes, 9391 seems to be the center of their territory. I haven't actually explored that sector, though. The middle of the map is based on autopilot data.

Well, one thing I didn't know the SWARM or any Alien controlled race would do, was place fighters in your home sector.... The other day i got a great surprise of 38,000 and some fighters in my home sector set on offensive... Which ended up in me getting blown up as soon as I lifted off my planet... So, that was a new one... I guess the SWARM was pissed I blew up some of their own... So, FYI for anyone that didn't know custom alien races would do this. However I think i remember in the first game, one of the custom alien races attacking someones planet... I could be wrong, but I think i remember seeing something like that in the daily read out.

That's a nasty surprise. They seem to sometimes drop fighters in sectors where they've been attacked. I haven't had them attack my planets yet, except when I move them in the same sector as their planet.

I'm going to blockade a large warp bubble to create a Swarm-free zone. The entrance is in sector 24742. If you want to have transwarp access, please drop a fighter somewhere out-of-the-way in the bubble. Or you can join my corp (we have only one rule: don't mess with the blockade planets). Blockade will go live in a few days, when I get it up to full strength.

Well, you can help haul colonists if you want. But it's boring and I've got time to finish it up before the rest of the shield generators come online.

You can drop a fighter anywhere that's not too close to the entrance. Here's a list of dead ends within the main bubble: 4451 9211 9217 9320 16456 18610 23875 28707

The warp bubble at 24742 is now blocked off to keep the swarm out. I've upgraded all the ports in the bubble, so do feel free to visit it. But whatever you do, DON'T GO IN 24742, unless you're in my corp. You can use an etherprobe to find an empty sector in there and jump to it with a transwarp drive. Leave a fighter somewhere inside for easy access.

The assault is on! I'm grinding away at the Swarm's home sector, 9391. If you want to help out, I recommend that you bring a Guardian with at least 100k fighters. I'm staging in 5263. You might see one of my planets in there -- just don't try to land on it and it won't bother you.
