virtual server hackers
Posted: Tue Feb 07, 2006 7:58 pmToday i've learned a valuable lesson... NEVER!!! leave a virtual server running while youre not on. I just got hacked and thankfully nothing serious happened. but if i hadnt of caught it when i did it could have made my computer explode! 
that would have sucked. but now i've closed my server and dont plan on using it too often. i feel retarted and didnt want the same thing happening to anyone else. so i decided to let you all know the dangers of being retarded!

Yeah you have to watch out with servers and opening your computer up for others to have access. That's why it's a good idea to have a 2nd computer to run all your server stuff on, that way if it gets hacked, your not out anything.
